What is it for?
To join a flexible hose the solid ABS pipework.
Where do you use it?
To join flexible pipe on to a solid pipe work connection. Note this the THREADED version not the PLAIN version. A typical use would be at the base of a skimmer to attach a flexible hose or on your multiport valve to attach your back wash hose.
