The Calorex Ipac Inverter Heat Pump

The Calorex I-PAC range of Heat Pumps have been designed by Dantherm in the UK for the UK Climate and have now superseded the original PPT range of Calorex heat pumps.

As well as the NEW I-PAC range of inverter heat pumps for extended UK season usage (April - October), there is also an I-PAC+ range of inverter heat pumps for all year round usage. The New I-PAC Heat pumps have an increased range of power ratings from 8kW to 25kW.

Inverter technology used in these heat pumps, not only gives lower running costs and a soft start up, but also reduces sound levels to a 'whisper'. This reduction in sound equates to around 11dB(A). Inverter technology also eliminates the micro surges on start up associated with standard on/off controlled heat pumps. 

The I-PAC range of inverter heat pumps only uses the Low Global Warming Potential (GWP) R32 refrigerant and the compact size of the units also have a small footprint which is compliant with permitted development rights.

The New Wi-Fi connectivity built into the I-PAC range of inverter heat pumps allows for remote control usage, so there is no more having to rush back home to manually switch on your heat pump. It can be done from anywhere in the world via your remote device.

In terms of performance the I-PAC range will work down into temperatures of -5C and and operate an average COP of 8.9 when the ambient air temperature is at 27C. The I-PAC+ will work down into temperatures of -15C with an average COP of 10.2 when the ambient air temperature is at 27C.
