1. AQ Box – Standard Sized Stock Pool Enclosures
Standard sized swimming pool enclosures delivered straight from stock. The cheapest, easiest, and fastest way to own a high quality rigid pool enclosure. While lead times for bespoke made enclosures are typically 6 to 12 weeks, AQ Box enclosures are delivered from stock in about 1 to 2 weeks. For about the same price as an automatic slatted cover, you can enjoy a pool that is safe with children and pets around, can be used all year round, is cheaper to heat, and is much easier to keep clean.

Alukov pool enclosures are built with a lightweight, robust architectural aluminium frame glazed with UV-stabilised compact (glass-clear) or twin-wall polycarbonate panels. 3. Aqua Comet Enclosures – Full-Height Fixed Frame with Sliding Walls
Aqua Comet enclosures are a top-of-the-range, full-height swimming pool building constructed from a heavy-duty aluminium frame with clear polycarbonate panels. You can have your Aqua Comet enclosure custom-built to just about any length and any width. The unique feature of the Aqua Comet is that the main frame is permanently fixed to the ground while the side walls all slide upwards into the roof to allow as much or as little fresh air in as you choose. Open each panel by 4 inches at waist height to allow a cooling breeze, open the top half to keep it safe from unattended young children wandering in, or open it completely to a height of 6ft so everyone can walk freely in and out. What materials are used for your swimming pool enclosures?
All of our enclosures are manufactured from high-grade architectural aluminium profiles with stainless steel fasteners and track components. For the glazing infill, we use impact-resistant, UV-stabilised polycarbonate (available in 10mm twin-wall for extra thermal insulation or 4mm solid compact polycarbonate for glass-clear visibility).
Can the enclosure withstand strong winds and snow?
Yes. Alukov and Aqua Comet enclosures are engineered and load-tested to withstand extreme weather conditions, including wind speeds up to 100 km/h (62 mph) and heavy snow loads. With basic routine care, the lifespan of the aluminium structure and panels is over 20 years.
What is the delivery and installation lead time?
Standard-sized AQ Box enclosures are delivered from stock in around 1 to 2 weeks and can be installed as a DIY job or by our installation team. Bespoke custom-made Alukov and Aqua Comet enclosures typically take 6 to 12 weeks depending on the season, and are installed on-site by specialist technicians.
Do I need planning permission for a pool enclosure in the UK?
In most UK residential gardens, retractable swimming pool enclosures fall under Permitted Development rights and do not require planning permission, provided they comply with standard height and boundary limits (and the property is not Listed or in a Conservation Area).
