The Sol Plus Guard Geobubble Solar Cover is a mid the range solar cover. The cover is made from 500 micron material. 

500 microns refers to the thickness of the plastic the cover is made from. The thicker the plastic the stronger the cover but also the heavier it is.  Made from a semi translucent clear blue material, this cover has the most solar gain effect of all the geobubble covers.

Solar Gains: The Sol+Guard™ 500 micron transparent swimming pool cover material transmits 80% of the sun’s energy in the visual and IR spectrum through the material to heat the water in the swimming pool. Sol+Guard has been seen to increase pool temperatures by up to 8°C above the ambient pool temperature, reducing the heating demand by up to 70%. It is particularly suited to un-heated pools. In countries where there is high UV, you will need to upgrade to the UV180 material and can ask one of our sales team for a quotation for this upgraded cover.

The Sol Plus Guard  geobubble cover comes with a 4 year pro rata warranty.

Having a Leading Edge Kit fixed to the cover makes it much easier to pull the cover back on to the pool. You can buy a kit and fix it yourself or you have the option of having it fitted at the factory.
